If you choose to
join in on a Christian travel club trip, it is
understood and agreed to that:
The
Christian Travel Club is not a company, but rather a
group of friends traveling and sharing adventures
together. The club was started by
Bill Mallia
who
has been professionally involved in the travel
industry for over 30-years. While Bill promotes
these trips, they are coordinated and assembled by various travel suppliers
such as tour companies, cruise
lines, group operators, and the like. The club or it's
leadership does not certify the
qualifications of the companies, organizers or members to lead or
participate in trips/events. The Christian Travel Club
does however, work with professional guides and tour
operators on many of their trips.
Some trips
will be more physically demanding than
others. Only you know how much you can handle, so make
sure you have read the complete trip description and are
fully aware of the physical requirements before you sign
up, or you might be putting yourself and others into a
dangerous situation. Should you have questions about the
physical requirements of the trip, please
contact the
event organizer. By signing up and participating in any
events posted by this group, you represent that you are
qualified, in good health and in proper physical
condition to participate in the event. If you are at all
unsure of your physical abilities for an event, you
agree to not participate.
As a participant in a trip,
you acknowledges that the nature of the event is
adventurous and may involve a significant amount of
personal risk, potential travel related delays and
similar inconveniences and challenges. Participants
thereby assume all such risk and does release “The
Christian Travel Club” and any of it's organizers from
all claims and causes of action arising from any damages
or injuries or death resulting from these inherent
risks.
Travel insurance is
available from various companies and it is strongly
recommended that you purchase it for the trip you are going
on.
When
travel providers and related organizers charge for their events, this is between you
and them, or between you and the direct company charging
the fees. This has nothing to do with “The Christian
Travel Club”. Also, the people who offer
ideas/suggestions and ask for money for their events are
not associated with “The Christian Travel Club”, so
please pay at your own discretion. These financial
transactions are between you and them and not this group
or its organizers. “The Christian Travel Club” is not
responsible for any possible monetary losses/financial
disagreement.
You understand that
“The Christian Travel Club” may, from time to time, take
photographic, digital or video images of event
participants for advertising purposes. You hereby agree
to allow “The Christian Travel Club” to use those images
for that purpose without expectation of privacy or
remuneration.
